BBE InConversation with Carrie Nassif and Haley Lasché

Join us Tuesday, November 14 at 7 p.m. Eastern (4 p.m. Pacific) for a reading and conversation with Carrie Nassif, author of lithopaedion, and Haley Lasché, author of One. They will be reading from their poetry, talking about received wisdom and eco-poetics, living in the moment, and more. Registration is required

 

Carrie Nassif is a queer poet, photographer, psychologist and creativity catalyst/life coach living in northern New Mexico. Her chapbook, lithopaedion was one of this summer’s the Wardrobe’s Best Dressed and a finalist in Yes Yes Books’ Vinyl 45 chapbook prize. A full length poetry collection and/or speculative memoir, necessary and sufficient conditions: the vulture girl is forthcoming summer 2024 with Saddle Road Press. Recent work can be found in Concision Poetry Journal, Quartet, and Colorado Review among others as well as several anthologies


Haley Lasché is the co-founder and co-editor of the poetry press Beauty School Editions and the founder editor and designer of the literary magazine Concision Poetry Journal. She teaches writing and literature courses at colleges and universities in and around St. Paul, Minnesota. She also has two poetry chapbooks: Where It Leads (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2016) and Blood and Survivor (Locofo Chaps, 2017). One is her premier poetry collection.
