Diane Lefer, Author, Out of Place,

I knew and respected Cat Parnell from her days as editor of Consequence. When I heard she and Maxie were launching Birch Bark Editing, I asked if they would consider adding publicity to their services. I am so grateful they said yes. Out of Place, my small press novel, is not my first published book, but this was the first time I ever had anyone actively on my side, always focused and enthusiastic. It makes a difference! Birch Bark had editing clients and workshops to keep them busy so I didn’t expect to have their full attention – but I did. I never had to wait for a response. Cat and Maxie were always there for me.
